Perspectives from Maruška Svašek

As a core member of the network, Maruška Svašek, Reader in Anthropology in the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, Queen’s University Belfast, discussed the assumptions and / or dominant ideologies that have shaped a particular area of her anthropological research. This was part of a session in Seminar 2 at Queen’s University Belfast on 6/7 April 2017 at which the core network members considered: What can we learn from other disciplines in considering how ideas and assumptions become traditions, norms and habits? The session was chaired by Constance Devereaux.
