Cultural Management and Policy has often been accused of being merely reactive instead of pro-active and agenda-setting with regards to the phenomenon of social change. In our Virtual Gathering 2022 we would like to build on what we have learnt from recent years of engagement within the BIE Network and explore a range of new approaches and solutions being developed by international cultural actors to address some of the most pressing global challenges.
Speakers will be covering areas such as sustainability, digitalisation, democratic participation, cultural heritage and decolonisation, with perspectives turned towards the future(s) that can be envisioned through these innovative new approaches.
We welcome an active participation from all audience members during the Q&A and break-out sessions.
Conference chaired by: Prof. Dr. Raphaela Henze MBA, Heilbronn University
